Even without commenting on the subject during the developer conference WWDC 2012, Apple began selling a new accessory for iPad owners. The new Smart Case protects the aluminum back of the iPad, but still having the same functionality of the Smart Cover, including those with magnets that turn on and off the screen of the tablet automatically.
According to Apple, Smart Case serves as a basis for the iPad, facilitating the reading of texts, typing and viewing videos. The cover is available in six different colors (green, red, blue, dark gray, pink and light gray) with polyurethane material, the same used in the manufacture of the basic line of Smart Covers.
Apple Store in the U.S., the Smart Case will be sold at a price of $ 49, ten dollars more expensive than the Smart Cover polyurethane. In Brazil, the accessory comes at extremely affordable price (only in reverse) from $ 199. Despite the slightly greater thickness of the new iPhone, the same cover can be used on both the iPhone and the iPad 2 third generation. Not been announced versions made of leather.
