LinkedIn reveals companies the most coveted in the world

LinkedIn, a social network focused on professional relationships, has released a list of the 100 most coveted by its users. Technology companies dominated the ranking with Google first, followed by Apple and Microsoft. The research was based on the interaction of more than 175 million profiles of Internet users and businesses on the site. Took into account how often professionals visited or followed the page of a company.


Google came in first in the overall ranking and also lists companies most coveted by marketers, and software engineering students. The Facebook ranked fourth and other area companies like Twitter and Salesforce appeared in the top 20. In addition to the technology companies, the other areas that were highlighted in the survey were: Trade, Services, Energy and Health, respectively.

Other companies are coveted by users: Unilever (5th), Coca-Cola (10th), Walt Disney (11) Nike (12), Shell (15) and Nestle (16th). However, not always the biggest companies are the most beloved of professional social network. According to research from LinkedIn, half of the companies that appeared in the ranking has less than seven thousand employees. In Brazil, the company is the most coveted Valley, which, in the general list, appears in 69th place, ahead of Chanel, IBM and Adobe.
