WhatsApp Messenger for iPhone

If your friends or family use iPhones, WhatsApp Messenger is designed to make SMS a thing of the past. With the application installed, users can send messages to each other for free using WiFi or 3G.

When you install WhatsApp Messenger, you have to enter your phone number, enter a code that you receive via SMS. Then, the application synchronizes with your phone contacts, anyone who owns the application will have a tab attached. Tap a contact that has no WhatsApp Messenger and you will be able to send an invitation.

Sending messages is as normal SMS service for the iPhone, except of course that does not send messages via the cellular network. As well as text, you can send images or audio in WhatsApp Messenger. It uses notifications, then you must log in to receive messages, which makes it as good as normal SMS service.

The only problem WhatsApp Messenger is that it only works between users WhatsApp Messenger. It's great when friends have, but if any of your contacts do not have it, you will still be stuck with SMS.

WhatsApp Messenger works fine, as long as you convince your friends to start using it too.
