New smartphone from Motorola, the XT531, targets emerging markets

Motorola announced the launch of the XT531, which is a smartphone more modest, but with reasonable resources for most of the users input.

The model comes with the Android operating system with 3.5-inch touchscreen, and though it is a device designed to markets with lower purchasing power, has two cameras (back to photos, and front for video calls), and of all widgets and applications required for you to be connected properly in their favorite social networks.

The version chosen by Motorola to Android model XT531 is a 2.3 (Gingerbeard), which is more a point of positive result, since most models of market entry are on Android 2.2 (Froyo). The model has a 800 MHz processor, 512 MB RAM, microSD card slot, WiFi connectivity, FM radio, GPS and an interesting battery of 1540 mAh.

The XT531 Motorola also has a unique interface customization, using Moto Switch, which allows the user to quickly switch between two application environments. Depending on how your smartphone will be used, you can create two distinct interfaces (for work and leisure), making the device adjusted for different purposes.

The phone will be launched first in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other Asian countries, only to land in some countries in Europe and Latin America. No price announced.
