Australia wins first exclusive store for Android

If  powerful iPhone and iPad are the opulent Apple Stores, Android now has a place to call their own. Work of the Australian operator Telstra, which together Google introduced the world's first store dedicated entirely to the little robot's operating system, the AndroidLand.

Headquartered in Melbourne, the store is a two-story great room entirely decorated with the program. Little robots of all kinds are scattered around the place and company to make large touch screens where visitors can play Angry Birds and navigate through Google Maps, among other applications available.

According to the operator, the store began to be planned in late July and will be fully dedicated to selling smartphones and tablets equipped with Android.

In the video that displays the location, Adrian Newport, division marketing manager for Google Mobile says that all the local environment is flavored with the scent of gingerbread - or Gingerbread, code name for version 2.3 of the program. But do not talk like you will address the challenge of ambintar the local ice cream sandwich.
