Chrome 16: multiple users with avatar for each

Google Chrome, the browser preferred by most readers, is here with new features. The application had its version 16 released today by the development team in both Windows and Apple's OS X and Linux. To force the immediate update of your browser, click the Settings icon and then "About Google Chrome". If necessary, it will be updated from this screen. And yes, you have to restart.


Chrome: multiple accounts
Support for multiple users is the main change in the browser. Let's say that several people in your house using the same PC and also share the same browser. Having a Google account, each user can login and thus have their own extensions and bookmarks synchronized directly with that browser window. Privacy is protected, so.

The setting screen of Chrome has a new section where you can manage saved Google Accounts in the browser. There's even the possibility of appointing an avatar for each account, which is displayed in the upper left corner. (I chose the ninja, for the record)

I wonder why Google bothered to draw the feature, since any current operating system has support for multiple accounts, which allow even have documents, files and separate system environment. Anyway, the novelty is there for all to use.
