WordPress 3.3, finally with drag and drop images

It is the heart of many blogs and tech sites out there. WordPress, content management system CMS, opens a world of opportunity for those who adopt it. In version 3.3, available for download today, we still have some facilities more than justify the immediate installation of the software.

The most notable of these, an old wish of someone who knows and uses the WP, is the sending of files via drag and drop (famous drag-and-drop). After clicking the upload icon, the user simply has to open the folder and drag all the files you want to send at once to the server. You know how it works: when you drag files with mouse cursor to a specific area-sensitive feature, the files automatically go up to the server.

Drag and drop
In the changelog of the application still has a description of file support .7 z and. Avi, to the delight of those who want to upload files compressed to WordPress. Very good.

The menu on the side of WordPress has been upgraded. Moving the mouse cursor over the actions, the user opens a submenu floating to the other options relating to that action. For example, "Pages" allows you to create a new page or edit an old page. Also in terms of interface, WordPress 3.3 has gained special floating balloons to give instructions to the user. Very useful for when a new plugin is installed and the developers want to show in practical ways in which each feature is.

We use WordPress on Tecnoblog. The core software is great. And we still have the chance to develop their own solutions to problems specific to the site. You know the highlight bar that appears on the cover of Tecnoblog, below the site? It was produced on top of WP by our ninja developer Leandro Alonso.

I also use WordPress on my personal projects and I can say that I would not trade this for any other CMS. I recommend the download already.
