Internet Explorer market share Grows and recovers

Internet Explorer has lost much market in recent years with the popularization of the release of Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, but since December 2011 is increasing its stake, according to data from Net Applications. The Microsoft browser closed last year with 51.87%, increased in January and ended March with 53.83%. All major browsers - Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera - have lost market.

No one cared much when Internet Explorer won the preference of some users of competition at the turn of the year, but the story has been repeated in the last three months. The only problem is that Net Applications shows a chart with uptrend - StatCounter W3Schools show an advance and increasing the Chrome. To increase the discussions, Microsoft has publicly stated that he prefers the data from Net Applications on the official blog of Internet Explorer.

StatCounter in the graph is quite different and shows that the Google browser will achieve leadership in two or three months. According to Microsoft, the StatCounter data are unreliable because they also include pre-rendered pages for Chrome (as the extension Tecnoblog Notifier, you certainly do) and are not compensated equally between the countries, unlike the method used by Net Applications . In addition, StatCounter considers each access to a page, while Net Applications only gives unique value to users.

It is not difficult to understand why the browser is rising Redmond - Microsoft is investing in videos to promote Internet Explorer and ... well, the developers are working on the rendering engine and new features to erase the bad memories caused by Internet Explorer 6 . Not mine, but of many.
