Nokia announces software update for Lumia 800

Earlier today we received a statement from Nokia in Brazil reporting on software update for the Nokia 800 Lumia. The unit that arrived at the home market a few weeks ago, tends to be more stable and longer battery about 30% higher after the owners install the update. While the announcement occurs on Thursday, I have upgraded my Lumia 800 since the beginning of the month.

Nokia says that the battery life should increase especially in terms of conversation on the network 3.5G (HSPA +). According to the manufacturer, the update to version 1600.2487.8107.12070 also improves the audio experience in calls or playing music and the screen brightness settings.

The update is available to all customers, both unlocked handsets as tethered appliances updating operator.

Lumia 800 owners should refer to the Zune Software (Windows) or Mac application Connector (for Mac).
