Here Is how to back up your tweets

If you are a frequent user of Twitter, you've probably noticed that the service has a limitation: it only provides access to the latest tweets. If you need to see an older message, you may have trouble finding it. To avoid this problem, what about making a backup of your tweets? That is what this tutorial will show. What you need is a backup of favorites or "direct messages"? No problem! Follow the step by step below.

Backing up your tweets with Tweet Scan
Step 1. To back up your tweets will use the online service Tweet Scan. The service is free, but has a limitation: it only stores the last thousand posts. But it's something, is not it? Access it and you'll find the page below:

Step 2. Choose what kind of content you want to copy: your tweets, replies from other users, "direct messages" or favorite. There are also the options list of friends and followers list, but these have not worked in our tests. You can also select "Full Archive" to select all options. Chosen? Now click the "Go to Twitter."

Step 3. You will be directed to a page on Twitter to allow access Tweet Scan to your account. In it, click "Allow".

Step 4. On the next page, you must agree to the conditions of service (in English) by selecting "I agree" unless you do not want to continue with the procedure. If you prefer, you can also enter your email address in the field "Enter your e-mail" to receive an email with a link to the backup. Click the "Continue" to proceed.

Step 5. You will see a confirmation page, stating your username and type of content to be copied. All right? Then click the "Finish".

Step 6. The backup process will begin and the link you can download it appears. Note, however, that the address does not work immediately. You must wait two or three minutes for the procedure is finalized. It is worth noting that technical difficulties may hinder the Twitter activity. If you experience problems, try again later.

Step 7. Wait a few minutes, click the link to download the backup. Another page will appear with the address permanently. Click it. Realize that you download a file with a. Zip. Use a program like WinRAR to decompress it. By doing this, you have two files with the requested data: one in HTML and CSV format into another, which can be opened in programs such as Excel.
