IOS 5: integration with Twitter, the center of notifications and other

Apple demonstrated today at the WWDC the news that it will release the next version of mobile operating system IOS. Used in various models of mobile devices and the Apple TV also, the system has gained more than 200 new features. Some are specific to minors and other iPod and iPhone just for the tablet of the company. But only ten were highlighted at the event. Here are the most important of these below.

IOS-5 Twitter came to be directly integrated into the system. Users will be able to send tweets directly from Safari, Maps, the application of pictures and even YouTube via the Actions pane. I do not know what kind of deal Apple made with the social network, but it seems that you may have to choose which application to use Twitter in the system. That depends, of course, they suited to the new version.

Also presented was a system specific chat to anyone who has IOS called IMessage. It allows sending SMS, contacts and media with no limits, both the 3G and WiFi on the list of people who are not very happy with this integration is the developer of WhatsApp, an application that has the same function except that only works with numbers mobile. Soon after it are carriers who can see the profit plans of text messages dropping precipitously so this update is released.

Easier: notifications and camera

Suspicions that a new reporting system would be started when a developer submitted an application for notification of IOS was hired by Apple. And were confirmed when the company introduced the new system above. It mimics quite Android, accumulating reports of different applications and enabling rapid access to them from the top bar.

The camera also won a shortcut on the lock screen. Just press the home button twice the shortcut appears. It is a modification that will leave happy those who have lost the chance to take a picture because they had to unlock your device and open the camera application.

No PC? No problem.
With IOS 5.0 Apple finally implemented something many users wanted some IOS, you will be able to buy a iDevice any and will not need to plug it into a PC or Mac to activate it in iTunes. With the new system, you can get him out of the box and start using it immediately if it has energy in the battery. Probably will still be necessary to open an account directly from the Apple device, but it should not be so complicated as it sounds.

Another part of this philosophy to leave the strings are called delta updates. With IOS 5.0, Apple is going to send system updates direct to your device without the need to plug into iTunes to update.

The third and most important in my view, is the synchronization via WiFi devices with IOS 5.0 will be able to sync music, videos and all the information straight from iTunes to a wireless network. This feature joins the list of things that popped into Cydia and applications have been implemented by Apple.

And when it arrives?
That's the bad news. Despite having shown all this today, Steve Jobs is a little disappointing the users of Apple's devices, saying that the IOS should reach 5.0 in September. For now, only programmers can test it IOS: IOS version 5.0 beta is now available for download at Apple's developer center.
