Review: Sony Vaio VPC-F112HB

Quite expensive, however with a setting of not placing defects, which will let any user Charming, the Sony Vaio PCV-F112HB notebook is an excellent example which replaces up to any   desktop computer. The notebook comes equipped with an Intel Core i7 1.6 GHz, 6 GB RAM, 500 GB HD and Blu-ray.

Design

Simple, with a body designed in plastic with gray tones, the notebook has a look nothing fancy, but nice and sturdy. Far above the average weight of the notebook, a negative factor for notebooks, the VPC-F112HB weighs 3.2 kilograms and is available in dimensions.

The keyboard has keys with an appropriate size and spacing that facilitates typing. The VPC-F112HB still has a numeric keypad, which is included on account of the dimensions of the notebook, and a trackpad with two buttons, with a different texture, which recognizes multiple touches.

The 16.4-inch screen with resolution of 1,920 by 1,080 pixels, and large account with optimum brightness and vivid colors. In our tests with Blu-ray, the display of images was very good.

Resources

The side, the Sony Vaio PCV-F112HB has two USB ports, ExpressCard, HDMI and D-Sub, eSATA ports (hybrid USB) card reader, headphone and microphone input to P2 and Gigabit Ethernet.

Regarding configuration, there is nothing to put defects. Instead, with a powerful performance, the VPC-F112HB can replace up to any computer desktop. The notebook has a Core i7 excellent 720QM 1.6 GHz, 6 GB RAM with DDR3 1333 MHz, 500 GB HD 5400 rpm and 64-bit Windows 7.

In our tests, both in usability more casual - with navigation in Wi-Fi n standard - and in heavier roles, such as testing programs in image editor, the unit will not let us down and kept a fast browsing, as was be expected.

Battery

The battery life is one of the downsides of the Sony Vaio PCV-F112HB. Far from the supply unit could only hold about an hour of activity. However, considering that the notebook is heavy and that its major purpose is to replace a desktop computer, leave it on battery power, can not be a problem to the user who is not only interested in portability.
