Sony confirms the name Vita PlayStation Presents games and features For it

Sony really has failed to keep its industrial secrets efficiently. On the evening of Monday (6) in San Francisco, United States, the company used E3 to show the world once again the Next Generation Portable (NGP), now with the official name of PlayStation Vita - yes, exactly as they said the rumors of last week. But there was more disclosure.

Besides the name, Kaz Hirai, president of the giant in Japan, also officiated at the launch of the device to the end of the year, at Christmas this year. Other information was enough to confirm the expected price of the PS Vita, many analysts feared it could be higher than the PlayStation 3 at launch. Did not get that far.

Fortunately, Sony has managed to establish the level of U.S. $ 249 (or 249 euros and 24,980 yen) for the version equipped with Wi-Fi only, as well as with 3G version will cost $ 299 (or 299 euros and 29,980 yen). In the U.S. version of the appliance to connect to the cellular network will be sold exclusively with AT & T, which did not please both the audience at E3.
In addition, the hardware remains the same until we know: the graphics processor quad-core, 5-inch OLED touch-sensitive touchpad back, two analog joysticks and cameras front and rear. Still no information on RAM - amid rumors that it might suffer a cut in production costs decrease.

Games

Some highlights innovations in games deserve as ModNation Racers, a completely new version (ie not a port of the PSP or PS3) with the track editor facilitated by the resources of the touchscreen PS Vita, making the creation much easier. Another good news was LittleBigPlanet, with gameplay that is abusing the screen and back panel touchscreen, and accelerometer, making the title an even better tool for generating stages (many with gameplay similar to games for smartphones).

Already Ruin, an RPG with a touch of adventure in isometric view, showed an age-old dream of Sony: interoperability between portable and console table. The user can play a game by the PS Vita, stop it and then continue on with the PlayStation 3 as usual. The graphics, moreover, showed no loss of quality in the transition between platforms.

But perhaps the most unexpected game of the evening was the iteration of Street Fighter Tekken x presented by Yoshinori Ono, Capcom. The title, also shown in playable form (with graphics and apparently without loss in relation to the console versions), has the exclusive participation of the character Cole, inFAMOUS.
Some games shown on a trailer were not announced formally: Shinobido 2, the same producer of Tenchu (ninja stealth action and also quite similar), and Dragon's Crown, a lateral 2D platform game probably the Vanillaware. Moreover, there already announced Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Wipeout, and other Little Deviants.

Sony said during the conference that more than 80 games currently in development for the PS Vita, with the participation of "almost all producers, including their own Capcom, EA, THQ, Activision and Ubisoft. The focus seems to be on the same list of games for the launch, which has shown strong and able to expand further by launching the laptop for Christmas.

The company is investing heavily in the platform, and this time it seems to be on track for a more aggressive - at least we hope.
