Motorola announces new Androids: Photon 4G and Triumph

Today during a conference in the U.S. Motorola has announced two new devices to its line of Androids Photon 4G and Triumph. The devices are unlikely to appear in Brazil, since the first was to function primarily in 4G, something we have not here yet, and the second means that cannibalize sales of mobile phones like Milestone. Still, those are two Androids with respect to hardware.

The Photon 4G comes with Gingerbread Android 2.3, 2 Nvidia Tegra processor, 1 GB RAM, 12 GB of internal flash memory, 4.3 inch screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, VGA front camera, rear camera with 8 megapixel capacity up to 720p video recording, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi and also has a dock suitable for connection to TV, as well as Atrix. According to Nvidia, it would be a Superphone, which leads me to believe that he hangs around kryptonite.

Triumph already seems to follow the same design as the Droid, but without a sliding keyboard. It comes with a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels 4.1 inch, 5 megapixel back camera with video recording capability at up to 720p, VGA front camera, 2GB internal memory, 1400 mAh battery, HDMI output and a processor MSM8655 Qualcomm's 1 GHz, 512 MB RAM and runs the Android 2.2 Froyo.

Yes, you read right, Android 2.2 Froyo. Not only in Brazil that Motorola launches phones with older versions of the system. After all, our country is not so different to deserve this exclusivity.
