Learn how to block those annoying friends requests on Orkut

Whoever has an account on Orkut knows how annoying having to keep ignoring friend requests, sometimes daily, people who do not know you. But there are two ways to avoid this unpleasant situation. Choose the one that suits you, follow the steps below to configure your Orkut profile no longer need to deal with friend requests from strangers insistent.


Restrict friend requests
This is the easiest way to stop requests.

Step 1. Sign in to your Orkut account and click on "Settings" located in a navigation menu on the left corner of the screen.

Step 2. When the window opens, click "Privacy."

Step 3. The second last option is "Offer friendship can be sent." Check "someone who fits into one of the following selected options" and then set only people who know your e-mail, friends of friends or certain regions or countries, restricting the claims of friendship.

Step 4. To further refine your privacy on Orkut, you can select the option "Do not allow people to find me" on the last item displayed, and then click "Save."

Ignoring a user
No way. Some people do not realize when they are being annoying. To stop this kind of user and their incessant requests for friendship, do the following:

Step 5. Access the user profile that you want to ignore, and below the picture of the person, you'll see a menu titled "Actions".

Step 6. Then click "Ignore User". Then be displayed on screen the following message: "You added" This Person "successfully to your ignore list." From this confirmation, inconvenience this person can no longer send you friend requests, look at your photos or send scraps.
