NEC introduces Waterproof Android smartphone


What are your cell phone specifications? Certainly, with today's technology, many. And surely many are quite useful in their day to day, or simply fun. Japan's NTT DoCoMo decided to add a certain "bonus" to its newest smartphone WP N-06C: water resistance.


Besides being waterproof and weigh only 113 grams, this smartphone with Android operating system (2.3) is still ultra-thin, with only 7.9 mm thick in most of the surface and 9.7 mm in 5 megapixel camera. In a comparison with the Android smartphone reference point, the Galaxy II S - which has 8.49 mm thick - WP N-06C has an advantage.

In terms of hardware, the launch of DoCoMo is equipped with a Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, LCD display has four inches and 854 x 480 resolution, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth, 512MB of RAM, and microSD card slot . When you hit the shelves, you can still choose your WP N-06C among the colors gold, pink or brown.

The NEC also states that the WP N-06C will have features such as tethering easier, integrated payment system, exchange of data through infrared and supports downloads of up to 14 Mbps.

If you have lost a cell wet at the beach or pool, will certainly enjoy the WP N-06C, which appears to be a good buy. Counting still with great features and slim body, this device promises to make DoCoMo's success in the marketplace.
