McDonald's intends to replace the attendants of the 7000 box stores around the old continent for touchscreen terminals. A small change that will impact the last 30 to 40 years of service in fast food.
With the change, the lines continue, but without the lack of sympathy of the attendants. In their place, the customer could easily choose the meal from a menu of touch (preferably that has photos and prices of products). At checkout, once again dominates the self-service machines and credit card debt will be used for the customer to swipe your card and authorize the purchase. Simple as that.
Believe it or not, McDonald's is just beginning. Besides the replacement of boxes for self-service, the company will introduce new menus in Europe and extend the period in which the stores are open (it's interesting, but in Europe this kind of service is often close too early, leaving customers with no option at night.
Specifically in London, the new McDonald's system is comparable to the payment of public transport. Passing the Visa card, the value will be automatically registered. A full plate for the gluttons who eat on impulse.
About 2 million customers are served daily in Europe. This huge number of people hungry for two burgers, lettuce, cheese, special sauce, onions and pickles on a sesame seed bun soon will face the machines in time to ask a simple dish.
