Star plans to release games in digital version

Casual games gets more followers with  every passing day. Last week, the game Wonderful Town: Rio was announced that is Produced by American Mentez, it has everything to lure the Brazilian public. Another giant eye that seems to be that kind of fun is the Star.

In an interview with Business G1, the company president admitted that there is a desire to launch digital games in the near future. More than that, Carlos Tilkian said that work has been started for this objective is achieved by the end of the year.

As the star has very strong brands in the entertainment segment analog, it is expected that it will bring several titles for the digital medium. According to the president at least 50 games are capable of being launched on the Internet, and remain in the trays. One of the reasons for this decision is the strong competition from the Chinese, offering games (often dubious quality) for a more affordable price.

The business model for the internet was not set. Tilkian says the company will research the matter before deciding. Is not discarded, however, have already beaten the model of offering a free game with extras purchased separately.

Called "digital crack"by our columnist Izzy Nobre, casual games allow, for example, that the Star joins advertisers to develop a special version of Monopoly with models of actual release of large builders and developers. Opportunities abound.

So I ask you what game the Star you'd like to have on your computer screen, play with friends on the network? I see myself rather inclined to answer Monopoly. But it would be nice if the War Grow launch web-based.
