Samsung Omnia Pro 652 Review

Basic version for a smartphone, the Omnia Pro 652, Samsung is a cheap alternative to cellular in that category.  Ideal for professional use, good performance, but with limited resources, the major advantage of the system are Windows tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, among others, which make up the package Office Mobile 2010.

Design

The 2.4-inch display with resolution of 320 by 240 pixels, for being too small, leaves much to be desired, ing the views of the items, which is impaired, and for not being sensitive to the touch. Besides having many options of Windows Mobile on the desktop, confuse the user.

However, the central control knob does the job, promoting the usability of the device, replacing up to a touch screen.

Developed a solid structure, a large square format, though thin in thickness, with dimensions of 117 x 62 x 12 mm, the phone, despite the attention of large size, has a good interface and is easy to handle.

The QWERTY keyboard has a nice usability, with keys well placed and comfortable to optimize typing. Thus, for sending messages, the phone is perfect.

Features
The great advantage of this unit is the Office Suite Mobile 2010, Microsoft, which gives a more professional to use the Omnia Pro 652. In our tests, the loading of Office files had a good and fast performance.
Furthermore, the user has access to Outlook Mobile, which interacts easily with corporate e-mail, as well as applications for Windows Live Messenger, Facebook, Twitter, Office Communicator Mobile, Youtube, MyPhone, Google Maps, MSN Money, MSN Weather, Communities, Podcast, RSS Reader and Phone at Home. Compatibility with PDF files and GPS also not left out.

The device comes with a music player compatible with MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC +, MP4, WMV9, H.263, H.264 and DivX The experience of listening to music on mobile is very pleasant and audible sound, much to Account Technology Sound Alive, which improves the sound quality in 3D.

The two-megapixel camera has a resolution of bad quality to record how much to take pictures and can not afford to image enhancement and no flash. One negative factor, considering mainly that it is an Omnia smartphone.

The Omnia Pro 652 features Bluetooth, Wi-Fi connectivity and 3G, a microUSB port, 220 MB of internal memory (a great place), expandable to 16 GB of microSD cards. The speed of navigation, because of the processor, it is reasonable and does not crash easily.

Battery

In our tests, the battery of Omnia Pro 652 very disappointed. Away from power, the unit lasted less than 6 hours.
