Chromebook may delay due to legal proceedings

Ah, the amazing world of litigation is always a way to surprise me somehow. Who could do this was an American company that called ISYS Technologies is suing Google because the Mountain View giant apparently forgot to ask permission to use the brand and Chromebook ChromiumPC on their computers. That would be pretty trivial if not for one detail: ISYS has a very ChromiumPC.

Remember the ChromiumPC, the first desktop to be sold and that would have Chrome installed? So. It is manufactured by Xi3 Technologies, which is a subsidiary of ISYS. In the lawsuit, the company cites not only Google but also the manufacturers Acer and Samsung and e-commerce giant BestBuy and Amazon, and ask for the sale of Chromebooks scheduled to commence on June 15, is prohibited.

I may be wrong, but what appears is that ISYS just opened the proceedings because he wants to force Google to send a truckload of money for the company to close the case and licensing the brand. But it would sound less strange if the company itself had not created and advertised a desktop with Chrome.
