Microsoft's hardware requirements are problematic for manufacturers, says Acer

There are rumors that the Windows operating system OS 8 will support both Intel processors and   ARM. It is expected that the launch of Microsoft's tablet market even more heat to fight the Apple iPad and the running Android. However, manufacturers are already complaining about the restrictive rules of Microsoft hardware.

Acer is the third largest PC manufacturer in the world, and is determined to produce a tablet that runs Windows. But the president and CEO of Acer, JT Wang, is not happy with the way that Microsoft is behaving in this process. "They are controlling the whole thing, the whole process," said Wangner at Computex. Wang did not mention that those restrictions would be, but said that all the chip vendors and PC manufacturers are finding the the stance of Microsoft problem.

Microsoft raises expectations about your tablet

Microsoft needs to surprise people with tablets running Windows in order to compete as equals in the market. It may be why they are so obsessed with developing the provisions, taking account of the whole process. Microsoft has more to lose this bet than any other company, the expectation is that they are preparing things that never were seen.

The global market for tablet computers will almost quadruple this year to 70 million units from 18 million in 2010, according to estimates in the report of Jefferies Group Inc. Apple will control about 64% of the tablet market later this year, falling to 41 % in 2012, when 158 million units will probably be sold, the report said. If the Jefferies Group is correct, it may be that Microsoft is not so late to enter this niche as you think.
