After the hacker attacks suffered by the PlayStation Network, Sony's network is finally putting back on the air an important part of its operation, the PlayStation Store, where players can get paid for content downloaded to their consoles and handhelds.
The first thing we notice is that not only the store is back online, but how well it was updated and is full of news, as the third episode of Back to the Future, Sega Rally Arcade Online and a demo of MotorStorm Apocalypse. Sony has promised more updates on Friday, June 3, and surprises at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, E3, 2011.
Something not so nice to note is that the Welcome Back program is not yet in force. Announced by the company as a way to offer compensation to users for the time that the network was down, as some free games, maybe it was a wise decision of Sony not to offer the service now.
This is because although the network has already returned, some users are experiencing errors generated due to excessive traffic from so many players returning at the same time, which would be a heavy aggravating case they solve all their games for free download at the moment.
Users who bought the game 3 Dirt and until now could not play due to the lack of Online Pass now can get it without major problems, as well as players with portable PSP could again Go get your games normally.
