Chinese sells kidney to buy iPad

Brazil is not the only country where IPAD is more expensive than normal. Despite being manufactured in China, there it also receives some fees that leave the most expensive tablet. Still, some people buy. But a Chinese student did something quite different just to have the necessary purchasing power to buy it: he sold a kidney.

The boy, identified only as Zheng is 17 years old student in the provinces of Anhui, China. He said that a company buying and selling of organs came into contact with him through the Internet offering $ 3,000 for the kidney. The boy accepted the offer and on April 28 surgery was performed. Zheng, however, ended up not buying the Apple tablet, but a laptop and an iPhone.

Seeing the new gadgets, the boy's mother suspected Zheng and pressed to tell the whole truth. She has filed a complaint with police to try to find the agency that searched the boy and bought his kidney. The hospital where the surgery would have been denied any involvement.

This shows how far a person is willing to go just to have the latest technology gadgets. We just hope that if it does not become a common habit among freaks gadgets.
